But underneath that well-lined navy suit is a shoulder tattoo with Japanese writing which Karl doesn’t know what it translates to.

Speaking to the Daily Telegraph in 2014, the journalist revealed he was under the influence of drugs when he got the lifetime ink.

When asked what the tattoo meant, he responded: ‘I don’t know what it means as I was stoned at uni when i got it done.’ 

And in more recent times, Karl appeared Nova’s Kate, Tim and Marty show where he admitted he was inked up with the popular Australian Southern Cross design as well. 

‘I got one of those,’ he said.

And as for the infinity symbol found on his left wrist, it was cemented on during a Nine Charity Event.
