Inspired by intergenerational party girls, including Baba Beaton and Kate Moss, the River Island x Holly Fulton 13-piece collection is set to impress

River Island has announced that its next Design Forum collaboration – one we’re particularly excited about – will be with British designer Holly Fulton. Launching tomorrow, the 13-piece collection includes her signature vibrant prints, crystal embellishment (we’re after the biker jacket) and mismatched florals. Holly says her inspiration came from ‘party girls through the ages. Baba Beaton from the 1920s, Biba girls in the 70s and Kate Moss in the 90s… high on life and champagne’. Sounds good to us.

London Fashion Week may seem like a whirlwind of consumerism to some, but fashion is once again proving critics wrong by joining Oxfam for the Fashion Fighting Poverty catwalk event, with Vogue’s Bay Garnett styling looks using items donated from the charity’s stores.

The inaugural 2017 show included fashion royalty Erin O’Connor, Stella Tennant and Bella Freud.

This year’s event, opening London Fashion Week on Thursday, promises to be even bigger and better.

Watch it live at Oxfam’s Facebook page and shop the looks on the same day at oxfam.org.uk
