Front row: Off the wall and into H&M
Beautiful wallpaper and fabric prints are no longer just for brightening up our living spaces, thanks to H&M. For its latest limited-edition line, the high-street store has partnered with iconic interiors label GP & J Baker.
I’ll admit that I didn’t think that this collaboration was destined to be one of H&M’s sellouts. Then I saw the beautiful campaign shots: grown-up designs in gorgeous prints. If you’re feeling jaded by the sales and desperate for an injection of newness, put the launch date – 2 August – in your diary now. See you at the checkout!

What to wear to… a British festival
With Latitude in full swing and Wilderness, along with smaller events such as Curious Arts (a must for culture buffs), coming up, the festival has become a key date in our summer social calendar. This year, I’ll be channelling the all-weather look: a light jacket, floral dress and updated welly.
Latitude Festival is on until 15 July
I have been invited to a wedding that’s being held in a marquee in a field. What shoes will work with the grass and still look dressy? And what can I wear in the evening to keep warm? Barbara, Harpenden
Whether it’s a wedding or a garden party, stilettos sinking into grass all day might grate on you. I would go for a wedge, such as this goes-with-anything style from Zaccy’s or a low or mid-height block heel – the high street is great for these. A smart blazer or dressy coat will keep you warm in the evening.
