Frustrated Jurgen Klopp loses his cool with fellow German-speaker for his ‘s***’ translation after he WRONGLY told the press Jordan Henderson had said Liverpool would take Champions League clash with Salzburg ‘easy’

Jurgen Klopp called out a ‘s***’ translator after he misinterpreted Jordan Henderson’s answer during a press conference on the eve of their crunch Champions League match with Red Bull Salzburg.
The Liverpool manager wasn’t happy when the translator sat alongside him suggested Henderson said they would ‘go easy’ in their final group stage fixture.
In fact, captain Henderson, who was asked about Liverpool’s previous last match deciders in the competition, had said ‘that doesn’t mean it’s going to be easy.’

The interpreter was relaying quotes by Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson when Klopp interrupted and corrected him on his translation
After Henderson had finished speaking, the translator relayed his words into German only to be interrupted by Klopp.
In German, the manager said: ‘It’s s*** when next to the translator sits a coach who speaks German.
‘The question was if the Champions League title from the last year helps us because we have always delivered in situations like this.
‘He [Henderson] doesn’t talk about going easy in this game. We are aware of this challenge. He is speaking about all this normal stuff.
‘You should really listen. Otherwise, I can do it by myself. It’s not too difficult.’
Then switching to English, he added: ‘I am in a competition mood already, I can tell you.’
Henderson had said that Liverpool would not be ‘taking it easy’ against Salzburg as they search for the point needed to make it into the last-16 of the competition
But German boss Klopp got annoyed when the translator claimed Henderson said they would be ‘taking it easy’ in Tuesday night’s match
Liverpool need a point from their match against Red Bull Salzburg to make it through to the last-16 of the competition.
The defending European champions currently lead the way in Group E, with 10 points from their five games, a point ahead of Napoli and three ahead of Salzburg.
And Klopp’s side will also get through if Napoli lose at home to Genk though this seems unlikely given the Belgians have yet to win in the group.
Henderson was asked about whether being the defending champions put any more pressure on this final day fixture.

He said: ‘We need to perform, we need to get a result to get through to the next round which we have proven we have done before.
‘That doesn’t mean it’s going to be easy to do it again. We learn from those experiences and we know what we need to do.
‘We have confidence in our own ability and if we perform to the level we have been and we are capable of we can get a good result.’
