‘A lot of great players have played for the Club in its history, and they have a lot of great players currently, like my compatriot Aleksandar Mitrović.’

Silva’s ambitious team have stormed to an unexpected seventh place in the Premier League standings and are attempting to bring in further talents to aid them in their audacious bid for a place in one of next season’s European Cup competitions.

Fulham are also extending their search for new recruits to South America and are additionally attempting to agree a loan move for 21-year-old Brazilian midfielder, Andre.

The club is pursuing a loan deal with a £17.5m option to buy the defensive midfield star and have stepped up their efforts to secure his services in the remaining days of the midseason transfer window.
