Furious The Block fans say losing team Ronnie and Georgia were ‘robbed’

Viewers of The Block have taken to social media to share their fury over Sunday night’s bombshell finale, claiming Ronnie and Georgia Caceres were ‘robbed’ after coming last in auction.

The couple had been fan favourites from the start, even outing the ‘biggest cheating scandal in TV history’ – however, they ended up making the least amount of money when their four-bedroom home sold for $3,696,000 with a $296,000 profit.

But the biggest blow for the pair remains that Tanya and Vito Guccione and the Packham twins managed to earn more money than them at auction – despite having a clear advantage by cheating earlier in the season.

‘You’ve been robbed. Yours was the best house no doubt. So sorry, but congratulations for an amazing job,’ one disgruntled fan wrote on Twitter.

‘Robbed. Twice. Total joke of a show,’ another added, while a third chimed in: ‘Heart broken for you guys. You deserved to win.’

‘I’m already devastated for you guys! You should have won this!’ one fan echoed.

Others were more disappointed that Tanya and Vito finished in third place, with a profit of $400,000.01 after selling their home for $3,800,000.01.

Shocked: Viewers quickly took to social media to share their shock at the auction results - branding The Block a 'joke' and sharing their heartache over the pair's loss

The result came just hours after Tanya finally admitted she was the one who took the infamous photograph of the production schedule, before lying to everyone and claiming an ‘anonymous tradie’ had sent it to her for weeks.

‘How the heck did T&V make more money than you! That’s wrong. I’m so sorry,’ one fan said, while another wrote: ‘How did they beat Ronnie and Georgia? They definitely should have money deducted.’

Some called for Tanya and Vito to be banned for life from any future seasons of The Block, with one writing: ‘Should never be allowed to continue on The Block!’

‘And I’m done watching The Block. What a joke. Poor Ronnie and Georgia,’ another wrote, while someone else added: ‘They don’t deserve it – sorry are you telling me they get rewarded for cheating, not good morals.’

‘Lying pays off. They should donate it to charity,’ one viewer wrote.

‘That’s BS. I can’t believe their home is worth more than R&G’s. Talk about not fair. Sooo cheats still win,’ another wrote, while one said: ‘They should be disqualified.’
