Gabrielle Union, 50, looks radiant in a black dress in NYC… after sharing she and husband Dwyane Wade are hosting 50 people for Thanksgiving

Gabrielle Union looked pretty in a black ankle-length dress as she headed into Live with Kelly and Ryan in NYC on Tuesday.

The Cheaper by the Dozen star looked lovely in a dark ensemble with floral appliqués and a sweet-heart neckline which she paired with platform heels. 

This comes after 50-year-old Bring It On actress shared on Good Morning America that she and husband Dwyane Wade are hosting 50 people for Thanksgiving.

She spoke of Turkey Day this week while on GMA.

Union said that her husband goes ‘big’ on Thanksgiving, it’s like a ‘summer jam,’ with performances and all, they have 50 people, and she just shows up.

‘I just show up guys,’ she joked.

The star shares a daughter with her 40-year-old basketball star husband Wade: Kaavia James Union Wade, age four. 

And she helps Wade co-parent his kids: Zaya, 15, Zaire, 20, and Xavier, nine.

Gabrielle and Dwyane wed in 2014.

She then touched on her parenting skills noting that she is ‘a demonstratively affectionate mom.’ 

Gabrielle discussed her character’s role as a pilot in the movie Strange World and related that to her parenting skills.

‘As a very demonstratively affectionate and loving mother and wife, I brought that to the role,’ she said.

Union has been on a New York press tour with her co-star Jake Gyllenhaal promoting their new animated movie Strange World, which releases Wednesday. 

In Strange World, Jake and Gabrielle play a married couple in a family of explorers whose differences threaten to topple their latest and most crucial mission as they embark on a voyage to a mysterious planet named Avalonia.

The complicated Clades family has their own issues and is led by Searcher Clade who has always been a farmer.

Their world is threatened and they have to save it; that means they have to develop an understanding of each other and work together.

The animated flick also features the voices of Lucy Liu, Dennis Quaid and Jaboukie Young-White.

Union also said she is starring in the movie The Inspection.

The plot: A young, gay Black man, rejected by his mother and with few options for his future, decides to join the Marines, doing whatever it takes to succeed in a system that would cast him aside.  

Union plays his mother and shared was not so kind, she was too hard on her son.
