Australia may be entering its spring months. 

But winter was in full force this week thanks to the arrival of Game Of Thrones’ Night King.

To celebrate the release of Game Of Thrones’ seventh season in Digital HD, HBO decided to release the show’s terrifying antagonist upon the streets of Sydney this week.

Dressed in full Night King garb, HBO’s impersonator certainly managed to turn heads as he strode through iconic locations such as Bondi Beach, Sydney Opera House and Circular Quay. 

The grey-skinned villain also managed to surprise early-morning commuters on their train journey to work while taking the time to pose for selfies with fans. 

Many devotees took to social media to reveal their delight at the sighting, with one Tweeting: ‘@TrainsInfo so did anyone else see the #NightKing at town hall this morning?! Did he catch his train on time?’

The heart-pounding episode ended with the land of the living on a knife edge, with the leader of the White Walkers using his powerful new undead dragon to smash an enormous hole in the structure that has stood for around 8,000 years.
