They became household names in the film and television industry thanks to their roles in HBO’s Game Of Thrones.

And Richard Madden shared a sweet throwback snap on Thursday from when he and his co-stars Kit Harington and Alfie Allen had finished the first read-through for the fantasy series.

The trio of actors, who are all 32, looked youthful as they visited the Wheel of Belfast and took a fun snap together.

It was only in the first season that the three shared scenes together as Robb Stark (Richard), Jon Snow (Kit), and Theon Greyjoy (Alfie) respectfully.

The three characters grew up together in Winterfell, as Robb was the heir to the Stark family’s ancestral home, while Jon believed he was the illegitimate son of the former’s father Ned (Sean Bean).

Meanwhile, Theon was a ward of the Stark family, after his father Balon gave him to Ned in order to keep his seat as the Lord of the Iron Islands following the ironborn’s defeat during Robert’s rebellion.

Of the picture, Richard joked: ‘This is Kit, Alfie and I after our first read through of S1 Ep1 of Game of Thrones about 10 years ago. KIDZ.’

Richard hasn’t appeared in the series since the third season, as Robb was tragically killed alongside his mother and wife during the Red Wedding.

Jon and Theon have since reunited on the show, but it was initially not an amicable reunion as the latter had betrayed the Stark family and attacked Winterfell while it’s poorly defended during Robb’s bid to win the Iron Throne as King In The North.

It has since been revealed that Jon is in fact the son of Ned’s sister Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen, making him the true heir to the Iron Throne.

Romance had been flourishing between Jon and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) over season seven when they became unlikely allies in the quest for the Iron Throne, but his heritage has meant that she is in fact his aunt.

Recently, Kit admitted it was ‘really odd’ kissing Emilia because they had forged a strong friendship while filming together for the last seven years.

The hunk pointed out it made it even ‘weirder’ that his wife Rose Leslie, 32, who played Jon’s late lover Ygritte, also has a close friendship with Emilia.

He told The Mirror: ‘Emilia and I had been best friends over a seven-year period and by the time we had to kiss it seemed really odd.

‘Emilia, Rose and I are good friends, so even though you’re actors and its your job, there’s an element of weirdness when the three of us are having dinner and we had a kissing scene that day.’
