A gang of teenagers have been caught on camera charging at a 13-year-old in a carpark and stealing his shoes and mobile phone in a sickening attack.

Police in Joondalup in Perth, Western Australia are on the hunt for people allegedly involved in robbery and physical attacks in the area on Sunday.

Shocking footage shows the moment police allege two boys aged 13 and 14 were assaulted and robbed by a gang of up to 15 young people.

The second attack took place outside another takeaway shop on Dwyer Turn in Joondalup about an hour later.

Police have charged a 16-year-old boy with two counts of aggravated robbery in relation to the first incident, and will appear in court on October 17

A 17-year-old boy and a 23-year-old woman were sitting on a kerb outside the shop when they were surrounded by a group of males.

The boy was pushed, punched and had his head smashed with a glass bottle, while the woman had her purse stolen.

Police have charged a 16-year-old boy with two counts of aggravated robbery in relation to the first incident, and will appear in court on October 17.

They are still trying to identify the others involved in the two attacks, and have asked anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
