Gemma Collins joins Katie Price and Tess Daly celebrating International Women’s Day

Gemma Collins, Katie Price and Tess Daly led the famous faces celebrating International Women’s Day on Tuesday, as the stars shared inspirational messages and snaps to mark the occasion. 

TOWIE favourite Gemma, 41, posted an incredibly glamorous image with huge blow-dried hair as she encouraged her followers to ‘remember how fabulous we all are’. 

Meanwhile former glamour model Katie, 43, also uploaded a post on the day, sharing a sweet selfie with her mother Amy and sister Sophie and told how she adored her ‘little unit of strong women’.

Gemma looked incredible in her post as she donned a stylish leopard print top while strutting her stuff down the street and holding a women’s magazine. 

The Diva Forever star wrote in the caption: ‘IF ANYONE tells you your hair is too big, get rid of them. You don’t need that kind of negativity in your life! My passion for leopard print and big hair will never die! HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY remember how fabulous we all are!’ 

Meanwhile Katie wrote in the caption of her post with her family: ‘Happy International Women’s Day – I absolutely adore my little unit of strong women. Thank you for always supporting me.’

This Morning star Holly Willoughby, 41, took to her lifestyle page Wylde Moon to share a message as she enjoyed a walk in the sunshine, saying: ‘Hello I’m just off out for a beautiful walk in the sunshine and I just wanted to say Happy International Women’s Day, this is a great day because we get to celebrate all the wonderful women. 

‘We all know it already but use this a reminder to text that woman in your life, your mother, your sister, your auntie, your lover, your daughter, today I am thinking about my daughter, the next generation of brilliant women and my niece, my sister and my mother – the original Willoughby woman.’

While Amanda Holden, 51, shared a montage of images with the women in her life including one sweet image with her daughters Lexi, 16, Hollie, 10, and her mother.

The blonde beauty looked incredible in the series of snaps as they worked on designs together and posed in bright red swimwear on the beach.

International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.

The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality.

IWD has occurred for well over a century, with the first IWD gathering in 1911 supported by over a million people. 

The theme for the IWD 2022 campaign is ‘Break The Bias’, calling for a world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination.
