A package thief is making headlines, and not just because he was caught on camera.
The man who sauntered up to a house in Tallahassee, Florida on Sunday bore a striking resemblance to George Clooney.
With his aviator shades and signature salt and pepper hair, the thief was a dead ringer for one of America’s most beloved heartthrobs.

But Geoffrey Hall surely doesn’t have many fans after he was caught red-handed stealing the package – which only contained a pair of red tights.
A security camera at the home captured the moment Hall walked up to the doorstep shortly after the package was dropped off by UPS.
Hall quickly bent down to grab the package and walked back to his car, even taking the time to open his passenger door and throw the small box inside.
He then walked around his car to the driver’s side and drove off.

Hall was arrested two days later by Tallahassee police and has been charged with burglary, petit theft, and violation of probation

The Tallahassee Police Department posted about the arrest on Facebook and made note of the severity of Hall’s charges.
‘How disappointing for him when he opened the package and now all these charges,’ they quipped, adding the hashtag #STOPTHEGRINCH.
Many on social media joked that Hall should be forced to wear the tights he stole to court. Others couldn’t help but notice his looks.
