George H.W. Bush became the longest-living president in US history on Saturday when he turned 93 years and 166 days old.
The former president beat the previous record held by ex-presidnet Gerald Ford, who died in 2006.
Ford’s record was 93 years and 165 days old.

Bush skipped President Donald Trump’s inauguration due to his poor health.
He was admitted into an intensive care unit at Houston Methodist Hospital where he was treated for pneumonia two days before the event.
His wife Barbara was admitted at the same time to the same hospital for bronchitis.
