At around 4pm Friday, the 60-year-old was in the midst of his comedy routine at the Muckleshoot Casino Resort in Auburn, Washington when he began visibly struggling on stage, according to the outlet.

Sabrina Alvarez, an eye witness, said it took a bit before someone came out and brought the comedian a glass of water.

‘You could tell something was wrong, but it was not clear what was wrong,’ she told TMZ adding that Lopez then apologized to the audience, walked off stage and did not return.

The outlet reported that an ambulance was spotted outside of the Muckleshoot Casino but it was unclear if it was intended for Lopez or some other reason.

In addition to the abrupt ending to the matinee, George was set to perform again later that night but the casino confirmed that their headline act was forced to cancel.

Before his ill-fated matinee, George had taken to social media to share a tribute post to the late, great Betty White, who passed away on Friday at the age of 99.

The actor shared a funny clip of White from an old appearance on his former talk show, Lopez Tonight.

‘You know you’re loved when the entire world feels like 99 years just isn’t enough,’ he wrote in a caption.

He added in his tribute: ‘Your light is too bright to ever be dimmed. Thank you for the years of laughter and comedic genius, you will be dearly missed.’
