George v Kellyanne – LIVE! Conway’s husband fact-checks her on Twitter after she defends Trump on CNN in latest episode of D.C’s (second best) reality show

  • Washington lawyer George Conway once again took on President Trump
  • He also fact-checked his wife Kellyanne Conway after her heated TV appearance
  • Kellyanne was in a heated appearance on Chris Cuomo’s show on CNN

Counselor to the president Kellyanne Conway was subjected to on-line fact checking by her own husband after she had a heated dispute with Chris Cuomo on CNN Thursday night.

In a segment that aired on CNN at 9 pm, Conway pushed back against claims President Trump lied about a $130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels – only to see her argument immediately rebutted by husband George Conway on Twitter.

The Kellyanne Conway-George Conway show has attracted repeated notice from political consumers who can’t wait to see the next episode of the reality show unfolding – as Conway loyally backs the president and her husband makes his contempt for Trump’s alleged conduct more and more apparent.

Counselor to the president Kellyanne Conway had a heated segment with Chris Cuomo on CNN

During the segment, Conway repeatedly deflected claims by CNN’s Chris Cuomo that Trump lied when he denied knowing about the $130,000 hush payment to Daniels, a porn star who claims she had an affair with Trump – as well as the significance of a $150,000 payment to Playboy model Karen McDougal.

She contended that Cohen and others weren’t telling the truth because their statements were ‘based on plea agreements’ and they had an incentive to lie.

Minutes after her appearance ended George Conway, a prominent conservative attorney tweeted: ‘Given that Trump has repeatedly lied about the Daniels and McDougal payments—and given that he lies about virtually everything else, to the point that his own former personal lawyer described him as a “f****ing liar”—why should we take his word over that of federal prosecutors?’

His tweet went out at 10:09 PM, just after the show had ended.

Kellyanne had been arguing that it was Cohen who shouldn’t be believed.

Cuomo went after Trump for denying knowledge of the payment to Daniels and brought up a meeting where prosecutors say the plan was hatched to bury negative stories about Trump.

‘The truth is he knew everything about it. We have him on tape saying it. David Pecker, who’s a party to it, says he was there. It is incontrovertible that’s why prosecutors believe it,’ said Cuomo, calling it illegal.

He was referencing David Pecker, CEO of American Media Inc., which paid Karen McDougal $150,000 and is cooperating with prosecutors.

‘Woah it is not! You’re way offline,’ Kellyanne responded to him in a segment filled with tense back-and-forth. ‘You cannot say it’s incontrovertible when it is based on plea agreements by individuals,’ she said, picking up Trump’s line that Cohen lied to shave time off his jail sentence.

‘The president said in April on Air Force One, they said did you know about the payments, he said no,’ Cuomo told her.

‘He wasn’t talking about what he knew in April. He was talking about when the payment was made,’ insisted Conway.

In another exchange, Cuomo went back to the August 2015 meeting between Trump, Cohen and Pecker.

“Pecker said he was at the meeting. Cohen said he knew about it and the tape says that, why deny it?’ Conway said, the Huffington Post, which flagged the intra-marital dispute, reported.

Conway responded: ‘The President said he never directed Cohen to break the law.’
