German police walk in on Japanese bondage session on call in Neustadt

  • Officers turned up at a house in Neustadt after reports of domestic abuse
  • A neighbour claimed a half-naked woman was being abused by two men
  • But when they got there they found a Japanese Shibari teacher giving a lesson

German police had to turn down an invitation to a bondage session after they unwittingly walked in on one while on-duty.

Officers in the southwestern town of Neustadt were called to an apartment late on Wednesday to reports of domestic abuse.

A neighbour had tipped them off to say they had seen a half-naked woman being abused by two men.

But when they arrived at the scene they found the tenant of the flat giving a couple a lesson in the art of Japanese bondage.

The couple were there by choice and had wanted to learn more about the art of Japanese Shibari, which literally translates as ‘the beauty of tight binding’.

Officers confirmed there was no mistreatment and were even offered the chance to join in before they left.

But in a statement headlined ‘Fifty Shades of Neustadt,’ a police spokesman said ‘the couple were well and in a good mood’, however they had to politely decline their offer.

They added: ‘The tenant of the apartment, a teacher of the Japanese Shibari bondage, had instructed a couple in the art of erotic bondage.’
