Culshaw previously coached various young age groups at Melwood. Well known to Gerrard, he was a former Liverpool youth player himself having been spotted playing in the same local Huyton teams as the new Rangers boss.

Jordan Milsom takes over as Rangers’ head of performance. He was previously the lead fitness coach for Gerrard’s Liverpool U23 team. Prior to that, Milsom worked with the first-team at Liverpool.

The only member of Gerrard’s coaching staff without any affiliation to Liverpool is Colin Stewart, who will continue in his position as goalkeeping coach.
