Ghislaine Maxwell was guest speaker at elementary school in January and gave presentation on ocean

Ghislaine Maxwell, the British woman being sued by one of Jeffrey Epstein’s accusers, visited an elementary school in Massachusetts in January to speak to a class about the ocean.

Maxwell has been accused of helping facilitate some of the child sex trafficking crimes the pedophile was accused of before his suicide last Saturday and DailyMail.com revealed she was living in Manchester-By-Sea while the billionaire was in jail from July 7 until his death.

Now it is claimed Maxwell gave a presentation at Rockport Elementary School seven months ago and spoke to children about the ocean.

The woman was there on behalf of the TerraMar Project, which she established to help the environment and protect the ocean.

But Superintendent Rob Liebow told the Boston Globe about her connection to Epstein: ‘We had no knowledge.’

On Wednesday, 32-year-old Jennifer Araoz became the first known woman to sue Epstein’s estate, claiming the financier sexually abused her when she was 14 years old.

Araoz said she was ‘recruited’ outside Talent Unlimited High School by a woman who offered to buy Araoz meals and got her to slowly open up about her family and the death of her father just two years prior from an AIDs-related illness, according to court documents.

She was eventually convinced to visit Epstein at his home. At the end of each visit, she was given $300 in cash.

Araoz claims during one visit, she was asked to strip down to her underwear and give Epstein massages while he masturbated.

The massages and sexual abuse became more depraved and continued for a year until Epstein allegedly raped her in 2002 at age 15.

That lawsuit was made possible under the Child Victims Act, a New York state law that opens a one-year window to sue over alleged sexual abuse, regardless of when it occurred.

The other lawsuit, in contrast, accused Epstein, Sue Roe and other unnamed alleged accomplices of violating the federal Trafficking Victims Protection Act.

In addition to Epstein’s estate, Araoz is also suing Epstein’s ex-girlfriend Maxwell and three female members of his household staff.

Araoz said Maxwell, a British socialite and daughter of the late fraudster and media mogul Robert Maxwell, enabled his crimes.

Her lawyers said the young woman had no personal contact with Maxwell but is suing her because she had been described in other court cases as having helped Epstein recruit underage girls for sex.

Maxwell has previously denied wrongdoing, saying any allegations she was involved in arranging sex for Epstein were ‘abhorrent and entirely untrue’.

Federal prosecutors in New York are investigating whether any Epstein associates will face charges.

Maxwell is thought to have met Epstein some time in the early 1990s and was linked to him romantically in 1992. The pair dated briefly and she was known to be part of his inner circle for decades.

Maxwell started distancing herself from Epstein when claims he abused underage girls first started to surface publicly in the mid-2000s.

She has been lying low in recent months and was holed up for some time in a $3million New England mansion owned by 43-year-old tech CEO Scott Borgerson.

A source told DailyMail.com that the pair are currently in a relationship. Borgerson has since denied they are romantically linked but would not comment on the status of their friendship.

Borgerson is believed to have met Maxwell through speaking engagements connected to ocean preservation, a subject on which they share a passion. They were pictured speaking at the Arctic Circle Assembly in Reykjavik in 2014.

Maxwell was recently photographed at an In-N-Out restaurant in Los Angeles.
