Giants running back Saquon Barkley gets hit in the FACE during dodgeball at the Pro Bowl Games

Heads up! Giants running back Saquon Barkley gets hit in the FACE during a dodgeball game at the Pro Bowl Games… but shakes it off saying ‘we got the win, that’s the only thing that matters’

Saquon Barkley’s speed and elusiveness set him apart on the field, but apparently those skills don’t carry over to a game of dodgeball.

During last night’s NFL Pro Bowl Games, Barkley was taking part in a dodgeball tournament – taking on New Orleans Saints linebacker Demario Davis in an offense v. defense showdown.

Barkley tried dipping and dodging, but wasn’t able to avoid Davis throwing a ball directly at his face.

Thankfully for Barkley, he was able to shake it off pretty quickly. It also helped his NFC team get a win, because head shots result in an automatic disqualification.

After the tournament ended, Barkley addressed the Giants faithful – with his face still red from the hit.

‘Just got done playing dodgeball, got hit in my face, but at the end of the day we got the win. That’s the only thing that matters,’ Barkley said.

This is Barkley’s second Pro Bowl appearance and his first since 2018 after multiple seasons of injuries.

I just wanna say thank you guys so much, I wouldn’t be here without you guys. Much love,’ he said to close the video.

The NFL Pro Bowl games continue throughout the week – culminating in the league’s first ever flag football game.

Barkley checked in afterwards, said he was okay, and thanked Giants fans for their support
