Liverpool are reportedly set to sign Georgia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia.
The 23-year-old stopper was one of the stars of Euro 2024, keeping a clean sheet in a 2-0 win over Portugal after making 11 saves in a 1-1 draw with the Czech Republic.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano tweeted on Wednesday morning: ‘Mamardashvili and Liverpool, deal on.’
Romano had reported earlier in the week that Liverpool were weighing up the chance to sign Mamardashvili for a fee of more than €30m.
It is said that Mamardashvili will be likely be loaned out upon his arrival at Anfield.
