A 15-year-old girl has been brutally gang-raped, murdered and dumped in a 50ft-deep well in the latest shocking sex attack to rock India.
The tenth-grade student was reported missing by her grandfather after allegedly being kidnapped by three individuals on September 23.
The girl’s body was tragically found at the bottom of a well in the Ramgarh Shekhawati region of Sikar city, Rajasthan, less than 24 hours later.
Sikar police have now arrested two adults and a child who is believed to be the prime suspect in the alleged gang rape and murder of a minor.
A police official confirmed that a 15-year-old has been apprehended, while his two accomplices, Sameer and Ghulam, both 19, have also been detained.

They are being interrogated by police while detectives gather critical evidence from the crime scene.
Heart-breaking footage shows the moment that officials discovered the tragic girl’s body and lifted it up to ground level using a rope.
The girl was first reported missing by her grandfather at the Ramgarh Sethan police station on September 24 where he claimed his granddaughter had been kidnapped the night before.
Police then carried out an extensive search operation to find the missing girl and on Sunday afternoon, her lifeless body was discovered in a well.
The police then transported the body to the mortuary of the Ramgarh Sethan government hospital.
In accordance with the wishes of the family, the final rites were conducted in Jasrasar village, Sardarseher.
The girl was from the Churu district and had been living with her grandparents in Lavanda where she was studying.
‘Due to concerns of rape and murder, relevant sections of the law were added to the case, and further investigation was initiated after the body of the deceased minor was identified,’ an official told media.
The cops confirmed that the CCTV footage had revealed the identification of those responsible for the horrific crimes.
‘The CCTV footage installed along the route to the victim’s house has been reviewed and the suspects are seen approaching and leaving the victim’s residence,’ a police official told local media.

‘The identification has been confirmed through the CCTV footage of the suspects involved. One of the suspects also has an injury in his hand,’ the cop further maintained.
Family members have organised a large protest on Sunday to demand swift action is taken against the accused.
They also called for the attackers to face harsh punishment. The protesters maintained that the victim’s family should also be compensated.
