  • A seven year old girl had gotten her hand caught in a meat-grinder
  • She lost all the fingers on her right hand, and sustained serious hand injuries

A little girl has lost her hand after getting it caught in a meat grinder in Sydney’s south west. 

The seven year-old lost all her fingers and sustained serious injuries after putting her hand in the operating machinery.

New South Wales ambulance crews rushed to the premises on Argyle Street in Camden but her hand had already been forcibly amputated.

The girl, 7, was rushed to the Westmead Children’s Hospital (pictured) after getting her hand caught in a meat grinder in Sydney’s south west

Two crews and a specialist helicopter team treated the girl on scene before rushing her to the Westmead Children’s Hospital.

New South Wales ambulance told the Daily Mail Australia the girl remains in a serious but stable condition.
