Her hand-written letter to Her Majesty’s Buckingham Palace address reads: ‘Dear Queen Elizabeth, I am writing this letter to ask for your help. We have a dog who we love and two poor little dogs were stolen from their home in Cornwall.

‘Their owners are so sad and upset and miss them so much. Because you are the Queen I thought you could help find them please.’

It continues: ‘Can you help get Margie and Ruby on the TV and radio please? Their dogs are their children so please help get them home. Dogs are just as important as children.’

Angela and Giles have put up missing dog posters but have heard nothing since they were stolen on Jun 24 last year.

The poster reads: ‘Stolen dogs. Have you seen them? Have you been offered them? Please help reunite these girls with their heartbroken family.’
