Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady give heartfelt thanks to healthcare workers on the frontlines of the coronavirus crisis to mark World Health Day

He’s widely considered the greatest NFL quarterback of all time and she’s among the model who helped put the super in the supermodel moniker.

But on Tuesday, amid the still raging coronavirus crisis, Tom Brady and wife Gisele Bundchen heaped praise on the true heroes of the day: health care workers.

The couple took to Instagram together and shared a heartfelt video where they thanked those on the front lines of the COVID-19 battle in honor of World Health Day.  

‘Today is World Health Day and we would like to thank the incredible health professionals who are doing their best, every day, to help us. Thank you so much for all your dedication, courage and love,’ the couple wrote in the caption.

In the video, recorded as they continue their home quarantine, the pair each shared  some brief comments of respect and gratitude.

The six-time Super Bowl champion, 42, began by giving thanks and offering their support: ‘We are here for you.’

With a grinning smile he added, ‘Thank you from our family to yours. That we wish you continued luck and success in dealing with this.’

The Brazilian born supermodel, 39, followed suit by ‘sending out all of our love and prayers’ to all the doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers around he world. 

‘And thank you for being, like my son says, ‘wonderful heroes for all of us,’ she added in a reference to their 10-year-old boy, Benjamin.

‘And we wish you nothing but the best… sending you all so much love.’

Bundchen also gave thanks to healthcare workers in her native Portuguese.

‘This is a very hard time in the world right now. Everyone should stay calm. You are all working so hard, and because of you, we are going to beat the coronavirus soon. 

Thank you for all the work you’ve done. You guys are like superheroes. Braver than Batman! Stronger than Superman. And faster than the Flash. You can get any job done. Sending my best wishes, love Benny Brady.

The couple also have a daughter Vivian, seven, and Brady has a son John, 12, that he shares with actress Bridget Moynahan.
