A glamour model, who told police her name was ‘Adolf Hitler’, has avoided jail after a drunken bust up with her fiance at a railway station ended in a violent struggle with police.

Zaynab Alkhatib, 32, had been out for a meal with civil servant Andrew Hamer at a cafe when she threatened to throw herself off a glass balcony after staff asked her to leave on January 24 at Piccadilly Railway station in Manchester.

Alkhatib told police she was the Nazi dictator when they confronted her and she then started struggling with them.

Alkhatib, who goes by the stage name Kat Lee, deliberately sunk to the floor to stop them taking her away before punching one of the constables – a female officer – in her right thigh.

When she was taken to a police station she said: ‘I just wanted to get away from the man I was with.’

The clash occurred less than a year after former escort and lapdancer Alkhatib had spoken about how she had found love with 48-year Mr Hamer, who lives with his mother aged 78, after he booked her services.

It is not clear whether the couple are still together.

Magistrates conditionally discharged her for 18 months ordered her to pay £105 court costs.

Alkhatib had previously been a star in the adult film industry, acting in sex films such as Sugar Daddy and Vampyre Lovers, together with her twin sister Kit, as the duo Kit and Kat.

The twins appeared on TV’s Jeremy Kyle show to talk about how they earned £500-an-hour as escorts.

Last year, Alkhatib claimed to have had an affair with a famous boxing champion.

She also also appeared on ITV’s This Morning to talk about how she was giving students discounts for sex.

On the night in question, Alkhatib was described as being drunk and ‘slurring her words’.

Prosecuting, Joseph O’Connor said: ‘PC Sophie Brederik and another constable were on duty when they received a call that somebody was threatening to jump off the balcony on the second floor.

‘When they approached the defendant, she was drunk and was slurring her words. She told them she was with her fiancé called Mr Hamer. She then began to climb over the glass balcony arm.

‘PC Brederik told her to stop and asked for her identity. She answered ‘I am Adolf Hitler’ to this. She became disorderly and refused to leave the station by any other way except jumping down the balcony.

‘Officers had no other choice than to forcibly remove her from the station. They took hold of her by her right arm in order to make her leave.

‘She struggled against them. She sunk down to the floor so they couldn’t keep hold of her.

‘She then threw her right fist out and smashed into the the top of PC Brederik’s right left, making contact with her thigh.

‘Officers then took her from the station and arrested her for assault. She became compliant but couldn’t explain why she hit the officer.

‘She simply told them she wanted to get away from the man she was with and she apologised for her actions. The incident was over in 15 minutes in total.’

In a statement, PC Brederik said: ‘The offender was being restrained by my colleague when she punched out at my right leg. I was not injured by this incident but I do not expect this kind of behaviour when I am trying to do my job and I shouldn’t be worrying about being assaulted.’

The court heard Alkhatib, of Chorlton, had history of public disorder offences including assaulting a PC in 2010, 2012 and 2014 and being drunk and disorderly.

In 2010, she ripped off her clothes in a nightclub and ended up kicking two police officers who covered her up and took her home.

Two days later, she got so drunk that she undressed in a packed restaurant and sat on a podium wearing nothing but a pair of black stilettos.

The following year she was arrested after kicking out at police when they found her drunk in the passenger seat of a Mercedes car during the 2011 Conservative Party conference.

Her lawyer Stuart Page said: ‘When she first arrived at the police station she gave full and frank admissions in her interview and expressed her remorse at struggling against the officer.

‘The male with her at the time was her fiancé. They became involved in a heated argument. They initially decided to go for a meal at Piccadilly station and got drunk together. One member of staff came over to them and told them they would have to leave as they were closing the doors, otherwise they wouldn’t be able to get out.

‘In a joke to the staff member and her fiancé she said words to the effect of: ‘That doesn’t leave us much choice then, I’ll have to go over the balcony.’ She wasn’t intending to jump from the balcony. However, as she was sat on the arm of the balcony, this must have caused panic for the staff member.

‘The assault was not intentional. She didn’t smash her fist into the officer’s thigh, she was struggling against them and that’s how the assault came by. Of course, she knows this is unacceptable behaviour. The punch wasn’t deliberate.

‘There has been a gap in her offending and she had turned her life around. She has been doing charity 10k runs in which she has raised money for Cancer Research and Alzheimer’s. She wants to leave behind this offending behaviour.

‘She has not been drinking. She may have been drinking on this day in question, but otherwise, she has refrained from drinking. She has a few family issues.

‘People were short of money and as she works with some newspapers and some TV appearances she has some disposable income.

‘But, as her family know about this, they have been asking her for money and it had been getting her down.

‘She is 32 years old, no children, no dependencies. She has recently moved in with her friend who is like a mother to her.’

Adressing the court Alkhatib who admitted assault on police said: ‘I am just very sorry. I do lots of 10k’s and stuff. I’m always looking after other people and I need to start putting myself first more.’

This is not the first time she has been accused of assaulting police, the court heard Alkhatib, of Chorlton, had a history of assaulting a PC, doing so in 2010, 2012 and 2014

As well as being accused of assaulting police officers, she has been accused of being drunk and disorderly in the past

Mr Hamer was not in court. In a newspaper interview last year he told how after they met through her work when she advertised herself as Kat.

He flew her to Paris then proposed in his mother’s house with a £200 diamond ring from H Samuel.

He said: ‘There are too many people that judge but I am objective. I can separate what is Kat’s job. I doubt it will ever come between us. What we have together is special. I never knew love could be so wonderful.’

‘I have at last found a lovely girl who is sympathetic, caring and very sweet. She is all I have ever wanted. I’m a lucky man.’
