This cramped studio apartment in Sydney’s inner west brings a whole new meaning to the term ‘kitchen wipes’.

The tiny unit in the trendy suburb of Glebe has a kitchen and a bathroom but no wall separating the two.

There is also a wardrobe opposite the toilet with no door meaning that clothes will have to be stored next to the oven.

Those desperate enough to take the apartment, located on Mansfield Street, will be charged a whopping $285 a week for the dubious privilege.

The leasing agent released a series of pictures showcasing the small apartment, describing it as a ‘good sized bachelor flat… with floorboards and high ceilings’.

The apartment does have all the amenities into a small square-foot space, and includes a semi-secluded space which could be used as a bedroom.

There are currently 117 studio rentals available in Glebe – including a handful with an asking price under $400 per week.

Anybody who is interested in viewing the apartment is urged to contact the listing agent to book a private viewing.

Appointments will be staggered to ensure correct social distancing habits are being enforced due to the coronavirus crisis.

‘Please do not make an appointment if you have flu like symptoms, or have returned from overseas recently,’ the advertisement read.

Even during the viewing, there will be no handshakes or personal contact between the agent and the prospective renter, and a distance of 1.5m must be maintained.

People are also encouraged to ask the agent to open and doors, cupboards or spaces they wish to inspect for the duration of the appointment.

The new tenant will boast a ‘prime position, coupled with a supreme lifestyle location’, the listing read.
