Godfather actor Gianni Russo is rewriting American history with bombshell claims about the sinister secrets behind the deaths of Marilyn Monroe and President John F. Kennedy Jr.
In an exclusive interview with DailyMailTV, Russo, who played Carlo Rizzi in The Godfather, says the blonde bombshell could still be alive today if her ex-husband, baseball legend Joe DiMaggio, had come pick her up from a Nevada resort when she called just three days before her death.
The 75-year-old, who claims he himself also had an affair with Monroe, says she made a phone call to DiMaggio to come ‘get me out of here’.
‘Joe DiMaggio don’t come. She’s dead,’ he says. ‘Marilyn Monroe might still be alive today had he come to pick her up that night.’
He also claims that the notorious assassin Lee Harvey Oswald was not the one who killed JFK, and claims he knows who did.

In August 1962, Chicago crime boss Sam Giancana and his mobsters flocked to Cal Neva Lodge & Casino near Lake Tahoe, Nevada, where Monroe was high on Xanax with singer Frank Sinatra.
The actor claims she was brought there to be filmed having a threesome with JFK and his brother Robert ‘Bobby’ Kennedy in a scheme to ruin the Kennedys reputation – a win for the mobsters who were upset with Bobby’s crackdowns.
He said the mob was after Monroe because they wanted to get to the president, using the scandalous tape as blackmail to strong-arm him into invading Cuba and returning the island’s casinos to organized criminals.
Robert and their father Joe Kennedy arrived at the resort, but the plan never came to fruition as JFK failed to show up.
‘The mob’s idea was to get pictures of the both of them in a room with her and they had them: two Catholic married men, with Marilyn Monroe.’
But he said Marilyn wouldn’t have it.
‘She went crazy screaming, ”I’m going to the press! I’m not somebody’s throw rag doll.”’
Russo says the minute Monroe threatened to go to the press, he knew that was the beginning of the end for her and that the Kennedys wanted her dead.
It’s long been rumored that Marilyn had affairs with JFK and his brother Robert. The blonde bombshell was at the resort with mobsters who were planning to film her having a threesome with JFK and his brother Bobby.

But, in a stunning revelation, he says Monroe didn’t have to die.
‘That night, she called Joe DiMaggio to come and get her,’ he says. ‘Joe was in San Francisco. He was right there!’
In DiMaggio’s account, he says when he spoke to Monroe she was calm.
‘It’s bullsh*t,’ Russo says. ‘He could’ve come to get her easily. But instead, he called Sinatra.’
Russo says Sinatra was orchestrating the entire threesome shoot and told DiMaggio, ‘mind your business and stay away,’ and so he did.
‘Joe DiMaggio was a piece of sh*t,’ he said of the slugger.
He also claims that Marilyn didn’t actually die of a barbiturates overdose as the coroner ruled.
He says a man known as The Doctor – an anesthesiologist who was a killer for hire and had done major hits for the mob – injected her with oxygen through her pubic region until she had an aneurysm and died.
And his says this was all done to silence her from exposing her affairs to the media.

He claims the same mobsters who put JFK into power, also took him and Robert out.
‘Joe Kennedy and Costello were partners in Prohibition,’ he tells DailyMailTV. ‘So, he felt, if the mob would get behind him, get all the unions to back him and get his son president, his first duty is going to be invade Cuba, the Bay of Pigs.’
Russo says JFK had plans to take over Cuba by putting his brother, Robert, in as Attorney General.
But Bobby, instead, went on a crusade to crush organized crime and in retaliation, three top mob bosses decided to take him out.
‘Three families had three different shooters,’ he says of the day of JFK’s assassination – 56 years ago to the day on November 22, 1963.
But he says it wasn’t Lee Harvey Oswald whose killed the president.
‘I know who the shooter is who actually shot him,’ he says. ‘It wasn’t Lee Harvey Oswald. It was Johnny Roselli who shot and killed him
‘He was in the sewer. When he came up he had the best shot. That was the kill bullet: Johnny Roselli.’

But with all his revelations, Russo doesn’t appear worried about mob retaliations. ‘Well, I mean to me, who’s around? It’s all over,’ he says. ‘There’s nobody around anymore’
Oswald took the fall for the murder, although Russo says later investigations were closing in on Roselli.
But before he could testify, Roselli – a mobster – was killed.
‘They found him chopped up in a barrel,’ Russo says.
‘The CIA and the FBI basically said so far, the only person that’s gotten this right is Gianni Russo the actor,’ Russo says through laughter.
But with all his revelations, Russo doesn’t appear worried about mob retaliations.
‘Well, I mean to me, who’s around? It’s all over,’ he says. ‘There’s nobody around anymore.’
