Gogglebox Australia stars Sarah Marie Fahd reveals why Prince Harry ruined her baby name idea

Matty Fahd and his Sarah Marie had the perfect name picked out for their second child. 

But the Gogglebox stars, who are expecting a baby boy, say Prince Harry has ruined the idea. 

Harry’s recently sullied reputation has dissuaded Matty and Sarah, both 35, from giving their next son a regal name. 

‘The name we really liked for [our next baby] – Amir – means “prince” in Arabic’ Matty tells this week’s issue of Stellar Magazine. 

However the pair changed their minds after Prince Harry’s tensions with the Royal Family made headlines around the world. 

‘It’s such a beautiful name, but I couldn’t do that to a second-born after all of that’ he added.

The couple announced they are expecting their second child, another boy, in December last year. 

They shared the exciting news to Instagram alongside a series of family photos with their three-year-old son Malik.

‘Our family is growing! We’re so excited to welcome a new Fahd to the family in 2023,’ they wrote.

‘Malik has already started prepping to be a big brother, reciting endless lists of the things he will be playing with his new sibling and writing up the ‘Bulldogs for Dummies’ playbook.’

They continued: ‘Bane [their dog] was asked to participate in this photo but instead chose to piss on the front porch (thankfully out of shot). Play the circus music, warm up the cuddles and bring on 2023!’

In one image, Sarah revealed her growing baby bump as she lifted her white T-shirt while posing alongside Matty and their son Malik.

In another image, the couple embraced and smiled while Malik held a sign that read: ‘Big Brother 2023’.

The couple tied the knot in 2018 after four years of dating, and they welcomed their son in November 2019.

Last year, Sarah and Matty celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary.

Matty posted a sweet video montage full of photos of the pair travelling, getting married, and having their son, Malik, to celebrate their anniversary.

‘4 years married, 8 years together & infinite memories with you @sarahmariefahd,’ Matty wrote.

‘You have been the creator, the selfless mother, my travel companion, my wife, my friend and the light of my life. I will cherish you always, I will always love you. Happy Anniversary,’ he wrote.
