Gogglebox Australia stars Sarah Marie and Matty Fahd welcomed a beautiful baby boy into the world on Wednesday. 

And now the overjoyed new parents have revealed their pregnancy wasn’t always smooth sailing.

On Thursday, Sarah Marie, 32, told news.com.au she was ‘in a lot of pain’ four weeks into her pregnancy – and she was unable to speak about it.

‘The worst thing about pregnancy is the whole stigma of not being able to tell anyone you’re pregnant in the first trimester,’ she said. 

‘Not being able to tell anyone what you are going through really sucked for me. 

The brunette beauty went on to explain: ‘The first four weeks of my pregnancy I was spotting and was in a lot of pain.’  

‘I was crying. I was so upset, especially when you’re trying to have a baby and you finally fall pregnant, and suddenly people are telling you you’re most likely going to miscarry.’

On Wednesday, Sarah Marie and Matty welcomed a healthy baby boy, named Malik George Fahd.  

Taking to Instagram, Matty shared a photo of his newborn cradled up to his dotting mother, wrapped in a blanket.

Matty captioned the snap: ‘My heart is full, Malik. I will love and protect you for the rest of my days.’

He continued: ‘I will be there to lift you up and to catch you when you fall, to give you the confidence to be comfortable with who you are no matter the circumstance, to always be a real man, in the truest sense of the word.’

The Gogglebox stars announced their pregnancy news in May.
