Gold Coast entertainer Riely Saville on Harvey Weinstein

An Australian entertainer has claimed disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein tried to coax her friend into a hotel room with the promise of reading scripts.

Gold Coast-based Riely Saville recalled meeting news.com.au Harvey in Hong Kong in 2011 and the encounter left a bad taste in her mouth.

She told the publication that she was attending the Asian Film awards in Hong Kong with her actress friend Caitanya Tan.

She added that the pair were joking about approaching Harvey to discuss a film idea that Caitanya had before the mogul approached the duo.

‘He came to say hello and introduce himself and we had a picture taken with him,’ Riely told the publication.

After Harvey learned that Caitanya was an actress, Riely claims the producer invited Caitanya to his hotel room to read scripts and allegedly snapped when Caitanya refused his advances.

‘He said ‘do you know who I am? I can make you famous,” Riely claimed.

Riely then told the publication that Harvey then turned his attention to her, asking if she had a boyfriend to which she replied ‘yes’ to ‘make him go away.’

‘I’ve heard of couch casting and knew it went on but didn’t expect it to be so blatant,’ she said.

Rieley also claims she received similar treatment from an unnnamed US rapper while working at a Surfer’s Paradise nightclub.

She claims that after a general chat with the star, he phoned his manager and allegedly said to make sure ‘this b**ch’ was in his limo.

Hollywood was rocked last week after allegations emerged that Harvey had harassed or assaulted a number of women  over his three decades in the film business.

The producer is said to be in rehab but there has still been nothing to prove this claim, and now over 60 women have come forward with allegations of sexual harassment and assault.

Daily Mail Australia has approached Riely Saville and Harvey Weinstein for comment.
