World’s most patient dog? Golden retriever Biscuit sits in a bowl of soap suds while her four-year-old owner gives her a bath

  • Jamie is seen scrubbing six-year-old Biscuit at home Bangkok, Thailand
  • Her father, Thanankorn Pakdeeatsawasophon, helps her use a pink watering can
  • ‘B’ sits and waits for the girl to clean her fur before shaking off the water

This is the adorable moment a golden retriever sits patiently while her four-year-old owner gives her a soapy bath in Bangkok, Thailand.

The little girl, called Jamie, is seen scrubbing six-year-old Biscuit, nicknamed B, as the dog sits in a bowl full of bubbles.

Her father, Thanankorn Pakdeeatsawasophon, tells his daughter to ‘scrub her neck first with the bubbles’ as Biscuit looks on with a foamy ‘crown’ on her head.

‘Can you pour some water to her, be careful [with] her eyes,’ Mr Pakdeeatsawasophon says in the video as the young girl tips a pink watering can over the dog’s head.

He quickly moves to stop the water getting in Biscuit’s eyes while he films.

Jamie, wearing a face mask and a jungle-themed outfit, rushes away to avoid the spray but nearly slips over.

Her father asks her: ‘Are you okay?’ as she passes him over a dog hair.

Mr Pakdeeatsawasophon posted the video on his Instagram page on September 26.

‘Jamie loves her Biscuit so much. She feels that taking a shower is her responsibility,’ Mr Pakdeeatsawasophon wrote on the Instagram post.

One Instagram user commented ‘B is so sweet and patient…’ while another said: ‘Jamie is such a sweet girl.’

And Biscuit isn’t the only dog to seem less than impressed with bath time.

Sara Pullum, 21, recorded a clip on January 1 of a husky at a pet salon in Michigan as the pooch was getting pampered.

But the husky did not appear to be a fan as he let out ear-splitting howls of protest in front of the bemused groomers.
