A new collection of scented candles is inspired by the top national parks in the United States of America.

Good and Well Supply Company created a range of candles that smell like 12 different national park: Yosemite, Yellowstone, Sequoia, Rainier, North Cascades, Olympic, Acadia, Glacier, Crater Lake, Grand Canyon, Great Smokies, and Saguaro.

Priced at $24 each, the candles are sure to arouse interest among outdoorsy types — and they also benefit environmental causes.

The candles all pay homage to parks in the US with their labels and fragrances — but they give back to them, too.

In an effort to help protect America’s national parks, Good and Well Supply Company donates 10 per cent of profits from each purchase to Washington’s National Park Fund and the National Park Foundation.

The brand first launched National Park scented candles back in December but only released six: Yosemite, Yellowstone, Sequoia, Rainier, North Cascades, and Olympic.

Most of the original candles have strong fall and winter aromas, such as the cedarwood and spice of California’s Yosemite Park in the Sierra Nevada mountains.

Newer additions have lighter scents, like the earthy blend of red maple, laurel, and sandalwood found in the candle dedicated to America’s most-visited national park, the Great Smoky Mountains along the Tennessee and North Carolina border.

Megan McLaughlin, founder and candlemaker of Good and Well Supply Company, previously owned a handmade soap business, but chose to leave it behind to go explore the landscape of America.

She has lived in a tent in many national parks all across the U.S. and has experienced the smells, scents, and sights of the parks that many people have been inhaling for years.

She created the candles based on the scents and experiences she had during her travels, and said she wants to bring those same experiences to people’s homes.

What’s more, each of the 100 per cent soy candles is also vegan, eco-friendly, recyclable, lead and GMO-free, and ethically sourced and produced in the USA.
