This is the astonishing moment a good Samaritan fly kicks a transient who brutally attacks a passerby on a street in California.
The Los Angeles Police Department said a homeless man had taken a piece of plywood with a metal nail stuck in it to hit a victim in the face Monday night near 548 Spring Street.
That’s when the good Samaritan was seen running toward the transient to take him down.

The homeless man previously struck an innocent guy on the street with a piece of plywood with a nail stuck it in
Surveillance video obtained by FOX 11 shows the transient still holding the plywood with a nail in attempts to attack other victims on the street before the man stops him with a quick kick.
The victim was not said to have any connection to the transient – and was a man simply walking his dog when the unprovoked attack happened.
Residents of the area who know the victim said they witnessed his severe injuries afterward.
‘His injuries were very very graphic, very tough to look at and try to hold a conversation with him, very large gash on his lip where his lip was slightly hanging,’ Claudia Oliveira told the local news station.

Corey Smith said he also took part in the incident by attempting to prevent the transient man from attacking more people
Corey Smith said he also attempted to take the attacker down, along with others who tried to help.
‘I told him you know you’re going to jail, this is a citizens arrest, don’t move, the cops are coming,’ Smith told FOX 11.
‘He turned around and said f**k you, get out of the way and turned to take off and one of the gentlemen I was with tackled him.’
The victim is currently hospitalized. He will likely require several surgeries to help correct facial deformities.
The transient, whose name was not released, has been taken into custody.
