Grace Jones, 70, steals the show at the Tommy X Zendaya PFW show

She rose to fame as a modelling sensation in the early 70s before kick-starting her music career.

And Grace Jones made a glorious return to the catwalk during the Tommy X Zendaya Paris Fashion Week show, as the collection pays tribue to fashion mavens from the golden era of the 1970s.

The 70-year-old songstress managed to steal the show, alongside runway stalwarts including Winnie Harlow and Jourdan Dunn, as she donned a glittering gold bodysuit which showcased her age-defying physique to perfection.

She displayed her honed pins in a pair of red leather thigh-high boots, as she jaunted down the catwalk in the perilously high heels, putting on a incredibly animated performance for those sat in the audience.

Grace’s look was complete with a metallic rainbow jacket, which she layered over her skin-tight bodysuit, cinched with a thick rose gold belt around her lithe waist.

The Slave to the Rhythm singer, who brought the show to a sensational close, strutted her way down the runway before meeting actress-cum-designer Zendaya at the end where they enjoyed a boogie together.

Grace’s make-up consisted of a dramatic back smokey-eye, while she added light touches of foundation which only enhanced her glowing complexion, along with a deep cranberry lip.

The icon’s appearance came after Zendaya revealed that her clothing line was an ‘ode to female empowerment’, so it’s no surprise that Grace was asked to close her show as years before the #TimesUp campaign Grace was advocating for herself and equal pay.

Speaking of the collaboration, Zendaya told Vogue: ‘The most important thing to me is that these clothes feel timeless, and whoever puts it on feels powerful and confident.’

Joining Grace on the catwalk was Victoria Secret Angel Jourdan, who bared her breasts in a transparent glitzy gown, the material hugged her svelte frame as she sashayed down the catwalk – giving a taste of her best moves.

Her dazzling dress featured a slit up the thigh as well as one along the sleeve of her dress, which she teamed with a pair of gold strappy sandals but otherwise kept accessory free.

Taking further inspiration from the funky era, Jourdan wore her raven locks in big bouncy curls, while opting for a glamorous coat of make-up including a striking deep red lip.
