Pauline and Etta met in elementary school and have been close ever since — but Pauline didn’t expect to see Etta when she went out to a restaurant to celebrate turning 90 years old.

With cameras rolling, Etta came up from behind, tapping Pauline on the shoulder — and the moment Pauline noticed her, she collapsed in happy tears.

Pauline’s granddaughter Nicole shared the clip on TikTok on February 20, explaining that it was taken four years ago.

She wrote: ‘4 years ago for my grandmothers 90th birthday her best friend since they were little surprised her.’

‘I told you I wasn’t having a party,’ she tells Etta.

‘I know, I know, but Judy called me during the week and said, “You know, Mark will pick you up if you want to come,” I thought that was the best information I could have ever had,’ Etta replies.
