Graphic designer, 30, who battled cystic acne reveals how she made her yearly salary in 24 hours

A 30-year-old woman from Melbourne has revealed how she made her yearly salary in just 24 hours – after launching an online shop with the ‘miracle’ product that cured her own acne and scarring.

Jessica Niall had a previous job as a freelance graphic designer, where she earned just $22,000 – before she went on to make $24,000 in the first 24 hours of launching her acne mitt.

Now, Jessica’s Skin Silking Company has a ‘projected sales revenue for the year of 2019 [of around] $350,000’.

Recalling the night at home when she pushed ‘live’ on her website, Jessica told News Corp: ‘In the first 24 hours, I made my last year’s income.

‘I’m not even kidding. I was in tears. It’s kind of like the new business owner’s dream.

‘We’ve got a projected sales revenue for the year of 2019 to be about $350,000. And that’s quite conservative; that’s if I didn’t employ anyone and continued doing things as we have been.’

Jessica suffered from severe cystic acne herself for a decade, before she  accidentally stumbled upon the at-home answer on Reddit.

The Australian woman, who is behind Skin Silking, discovered a Turkish skin secret called ‘kese’, which means ‘peeling’.

‘It involves dead skin being removed with specially woven gloves made from plant and vegetable silk fibres, which are handmade using traditional methods,’ Jessica previously told FEMAIL.

The fibres ‘cling’ to the dead skin and make it ball up on the surface which means people can see dead skin rolling off.

Previously, Jessica was advised by myriad different dermatologists and skincare professionals that laser or skin needling were her only options to resurface her badly damaged skin.

Unfortunately this option was going to cost thousands, which she could not justify.

This is what led her to the internet to research other methods of acne scar removal and healing.

What are some of the benefits of ‘kese’?

– Reduces the appearance of acne scarring

– Fights off breakouts and blackheads by removing dead skin that can cause blockages

– Reduces the appearance of large, open pores

– Reveals brighter, more radiant skin

– Reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines

– Purges the pores of oil and dirt

– Softens the skin

– Reduces the appearance of stretch marks and encourages the production of collagen and elastin

Jessica said she came across obscure websites selling women gloves and read reviews raving about the effects.

‘Intrigued, I tracked down a Turkish company who made them and had a sample sent to me. The results I achieved after the first use were nothing short of phenomenal,’ she said.

‘Although the effects were instant, the more I used it, the more I noticed how dramatically it was changing the skin on my entire body.

‘Not only were my acne scars fading, but everything felt insanely smooth and my skin had a glow to it I had never seen before (not even in my pre-acne years).’

‘It is actually hard to describe my experience with this mitt without sounding super gimmicky, but using it has made me desperate to share my experience with everybody,’ she said.

‘So now I am on my crusade to become the official Queen of Exfoliation and share my discovery with others.

‘And how special it might be that I could turn years of suffering and humiliation into helping others to feel confident in their skin too.’

Jessica explained that the texture of a kese mitt is nothing like regular exfoliating mitts as the very unique weave of the mitt’s fabric is what makes it so effective.

As it glides up and down on the skin the woven texture literally ‘catches’ dead skin without doing any damage or causing any irritation.

She explained that she has noticed the effects on the skin are instant.

‘Right after your first use you will notice a big change in the brightness and overall texture and softness of your skin,’ Jessica said.

‘Then, results are cumulative, meaning the more you use the mitt the better the results. I particularly found with my acne scarring that I noticed them fading after three to four uses.’
