Olympic long jump champion Greg Rutherford’s girlfriend is deliberating sending a card to their neighbours asking them to stop having noisy sex – as their son believes they are being haunted by a ghost.
Susie Verrill and her family, who reside near Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, are regularly being kept awake by ‘ecstasy screams’ in the early hours of the morning.
It has led to the couple’s older son, three-year-old Milo, presuming that the wails are from a spooky spirit floating around the building.
She feels she has been left with no choice but to politely inform the neighbours of their racket-making through the medium of a card.

It reads: ”Hi! We’re genuinely very happy you guys enjoy a healthy relationship so please don’t read this as a passive aggressive note, but if you’re having fun around 1am/2am would you mind maybe being a tiny bit less vocal? It wakes our son up and we’re having a tricky time explaining you’re not a ghost…’
It is also accompanied by a cartoon-style picture of a ghost, in a bid to lighten the tone.
Miss Verrill, 29, took to Instagram to canvass opinion on whether sending the card was acceptable.
Alongside the picture of the card, she posted: ‘Guys. Would you be offended to get this note through your letterbox?

‘Our neighbours have a very healthy relationship which is ACE and we don’t want to stop anyone having fun but the, erm… ecstasy screams, at 2am are waking Milo up. And he then presumes it’s a poltergeist.
‘Because quite honestly they’re at a reasonably high level volume wise. Not looking to embarrass or pee anyone off, especially as we’re moving back out soon anyway/they’re childless and still get a frequent bonk on but yeah… I’m tired.

And most people were on her side, believing that she had been left with no choice but to let the noisy neighbours know.

Miss Verrill’s sympathy with the night-time nuisances may be unsuprising, given that she has been very frank about her own sex life.
The blogger spoke openly this summer about having slept with two England rugby players, adding that her ideal ‘type’ of man is one with big thighs.

Reading off comments on an online article about her, she said: ‘”Where’s the ring, Greg?” From Lauren in London. Not here [pointing at her hand]. We’re not going to get married because we don’t fancy a lifetime of misery and s*** sex.’
In a series of videos on photo-sharing site Instagram, she added: ‘This is my favourite: “She went through half the England rugby squad before she got her claws into Rutherford”. Because that’s half accurate.
‘I have had sex with two England rugby players. One was retired. What can I say, I like sportsmen.’ She jokingly added: ‘Yeh, Greg thought I was a virgin until I met him. Big surprise, woman has sex and has a type. Big thighs.’
There were also comments made about her baby bump, with one writing ‘proud of her bump, ashamed of her lump’.
Appearing to suggest she has been suffering from piles during her pregnancy, Miss Verrill, who has been in a relationship with Rutherford for several years, replied: ‘I’m proud of my bump. I’m not sure what the lump is, unless he’s referring to the pile which I’ve had for the last two months. I’m not proud of that.’
