  • The Manchester teenager made the decision to get the inking while in Kavos
  • Her holiday in the Greek party destination was the first without her parents

Nicole Reed, from Manchester, posted a snap of the black-ink outline of the Greggs logo on Twitter with a caption explaining she got it in the Greek party resort

A 19-year-old Greggs superfan got a tattoo of its logo on her thigh during a girls’ holiday to Kavos in an effort to try to bag herself free pasties.

Nicole Reed, from Manchester, posted a snap of the black-ink outline of the Greggs logo on Twitter.

The trip was her first girls’ holiday abroad without her parents and she celebrated by getting the tattoo in the hope of being offered free food by the chain.

She tweeted: ‘@GreggsOfficial what’s a girl gotta do to get a free pasty.’

The chain quipped back: ‘Is this real? Obviously a fan then? Should’ve got a sausage roll tattooed.’

Nicole decided to get the €60 tattoo to show her appreciation for the popular chain after her friend offered to pay for it while they were on a night out in the party resort.

She said: ‘I just love sausage rolls. I have absolutely no regrets – it’s funny.

‘I got the tattoo because I love Greggs. I love sausage rolls and I just wanted to show my dedication to them.

‘I’m a fully grown woman and I can do what I want.’

Other comments pointed out a huge flaw in her ploy to get free pasties.

An account called Renegade Master said: ‘You could have bought 40 for the price of the tattoo. Genius’.

Similarly, Jack Farney wrote: ‘They cost like not even £2 for f*** sake’.

And Techno Bear wrote: ‘With the money you spent on this you could have had about 50 pasties. Silly Billy’.

While cynics have suggested the amateur inking is fake, Nicole has video evidence of her getting the tat done.

And she insisted she has absolutely no regrets as she responded to online trolls who criticised her look.

It comes after another Greggs fan Tom Owen, 33, for a tat of a steak bake two years ago.

A spokesman for Greggs has been contacted for comment.
