Grim discovery as a woman’s body is found in idyllic Botanical Gardens just after sunrise as police scramble to the scene
A popular botanic gardens in Melbourne has been closed to the public after the horrifying discovery of a woman’s body.
Police remain at the scene of the grim discovery found under a tree in the St Kilda Botanical Gardens shortly after 6.30am on Tuesday.
The circumstances surrounding the woman’s death are yet to be determined.
