  • Blair travelled from America to Australia to spread his message of damnation

A hero tradesman has been caught on camera confronting a Christian preacher for telling a man in a wheelchair he was ‘too bitter’ to be healed by God.

The wheelchair-bound man was speaking with a florist in Sydney’s Martin Place on Monday when he was targeted by American evangelist Philip Blair.

‘You’re in a wheelchair. God can touch you but you’re too bitter to ask,’ Blair shouted.

‘He can’t walk, alright?’ You keep yelling and screaming for no reason – no one cares!’ the florist shot back while crowds continued to walk past the preacher.

‘There is a reason, people are going to hell!’ the preacher shouted.

Watching on from a distance, a tradesman appeared to hesitate before deciding to challenge Blair over his controversial comments.

‘You’ve just slated the man for being in the wheelchair, and you’re talking about people going to hell?’ he said.

‘Yes,’ the American responded.

‘Well you’re going to hell for saying that about him,’ the tradesman said.

Blair confidently responded: ‘No I’m not – I’m here because I love you man.’

Frustrated, the tradesman gave up. ‘No you don’t, you don’t know me… idiot,’ he said before turning away.

Blair was then scolded by a tradie, who told him off for being a hypocrite and said he was the one going to hell

Blair has been in Australia since March 27, and regularly uploads videos his public preaching to social media.

He has spoken against evolution and abortion, and one woman responded by calling him a ‘terrorist’.

One video shows the devout preacher bothering commuters on a busy train, until he is scolded by a man who says: ‘All I want you to do is shut up and leave me alone’.

When Blair is then asked why he won’t keep his opinion to himself he responds, ‘because I care about your soul. I love you,’ Mr Blair said.

‘It’s a selfish world and you need to repent.’

Who’s the selfish one here mate?’ the passenger said.

‘Who’s the one who won’t shut up with their opinion? How selfish is that?’ ‘

The train then erupted with cheering.
