She told police that she was in town to attend Carney’s September 1 wedding and said the assault occurred in a downstairs men’s locker room.

According to WNEP, the wedding party spent the day drinking alcohol.

The victim became very drunk and even blacked out at some point during the day.

When she woke up, she told authorities that she found herself in the men’s locker room with Carney fondling her and her bikini bottom removed.

A short time later, Carney’s bride-to-be walked in the room and witnessed the incident.

That led to a fight between the bride-to-be and Carney.

After the incident, police said Carney admitted to taking advantage of the woman and leading her into the locker room. Despite it all, Carney and the bride-to-be got married on September 1 at the Shawnee Inn (pictured)
