A grumbling resident has submitted more than 600 complaints to his local council this year alone.
Kyle Harrison is responsible for more than half the complaints recorded to Hull City Council, according to analysis of data from FixMyStreet, a website that lets residents alert their council to issues that need attention.
Mr Harrison is responsible for 673 out of the most recent 1,000 complaints on the site this year. His biggest issue is with street lighting, which accounts for 30 per cent of his complaints (206 in total).
Most of them simply report the location of damaged or broken lights. One complaint reads: ‘Street light column No 2 is not lit when it’s dark – Feldane, Orchard Park Estate, Kingston Upon Hull.’
Another reads: ‘Street light column No 34 is lit during the day time – Beverly Road, Kingston Upon Hull.’
Mr Harrison’s second biggest issue is potholes – with 77 reported since the beginning of the year. He has also reported 64 occasions where streets have needed cleaning, 29 incidents of flyposting and 27 incidents of flytipping.
On two occasions he has reported offensive graffiti on properties – but he never seems to get angry.
‘Offensive Graffiti on external wall of house No 13 – Danepark Road, Orchard Park Estate, Kingston Upon Hull,’ one complaint simply reads.

On complaint said: ‘Street light column No 34 is lit during the day time – Beverly Road, Kingston Upon Hull.’ (pictured)
Myf Nixon, communications manager at mySociety (the company behind FixMyStreet), said that the system helps bring transparency to council work.
She said: ‘This has a number of benefits. It’s easy to see ifsomething has been reported before, so citizens don’t waste the council’s time if they already know about an issue.’
However, Hull City Council has urged residents to raise their concerns direct with them.
A spokeswoman said: ‘We encourage members of the public to get in touch with Hull City Council directly to report any broken lights, potholes or fly-tipping they become aware of via 300 300, or the Council’s website.’
