Guy Pearce sells four bedroom ‘double home’ in Melbourne for $8.65million taking slightly less than asking price
The Australian actor, 55, got slightly less for the property, with the price listed price between $8.5million and $9.35million.
The star, who currently lives in Amsterdam with partner Carice van Houten, listed the home with Jellis Craig Port Phillip, reported realestate.com.au.
An unnamed couple are said to have purchased the house late last week.
After buying the initial Middle Park house for $361,000 in 1995, Guy went on to purchase the neighbouring home for $1.35million in 2004 and combined them.

The redesign doubled the square metres of the property to 748, and allowed the Priscilla Queen of the Desert star to expand the character-filled home.
Boasting four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a media room, the double-fronted red brick Edwardian era house was put up for lease for $3,500 a few months ago.
However, it appears Guy has decided to sell the property entirely, palming the sale off to real estate agents Simon Gowling and Max Mercuri.
It comes just as the Memento actor is set to star in ITV’s adaptation of Ben Macintyre’s drama series A Spy Among Friends.

The cold war thriller is based on a real life story of the infamous defector from British intelligence services, Kim Philby.
Guy will take on the role of Kim whose story is being told through the lens of his MI6 colleague Nicholas Elliot, played by Damian Lewis.
Kim’s notorious career as a spy began in the early mid-1930s, when he was recruited alongside other Cambridge students by the Soviet Secret Service – the KGB.
Ben’s well-researched book, and the subsequent ITV series, focuses on the years following Kim’s recruitment when he infiltrated British intelligence.
