Police believe Guy Sebastian’s former manager may have defrauded ‘more high profile clients’ as Titus Day is charged with 61 counts of defrauding the pop star.
Celebrity agent Day, 47, spent the night in a police cell after police alleged he defrauded The Voice coach of $1.15 million between 2014 and 2020.
A court in Sydney’s east heard how 24 payments for Sebastian had allegedly been made into a trust which Day allegedly had sole access to.

Titus Day (left with Guy Sebastian) was arrested at a Bondi home, in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, at about 6.30pm on Wednesday
The payments were made between January 2015 and March 2020, so over five years.
However, only five of those payments were allegedly received by the musician while ’19 transactions were kept in the account’.
Day was only meant to take a ten per cent commission and had sole access to the trust account, Magistrate Ross Hudson said, reading from a police statement of facts.
‘It could be said that it is a strong prosecution case,’ Mr Hudson told the court.
After Day was arrested and taken to a police station on Wednesday, he told police he was already engaged in a civil court case over the funds and declined to comment further.
Day was granted bail despite some police concerns he could be a flight risk as his wife Courtney is a US national and he represents a UFC fighter in the US.

Day appeared in court via video link wearing a black skivvy and was expressionless.
His conditions included that he not approach Guy Sebastian in any way except through a lawyer, pay a $10,000 surety and report for bail daily.
His defence lawyer Lauren MacDougall said Day will be defending the charges and he was ‘relieved’ to be granted bail.
If convicted, he faces a maximum sentence of up to 10 years’ imprisonment.
The case returns to court in two weeks.
