Gwyneth Paltrow debuts extravagant Mother’s Day gift guide

Let’s hope Gwyneth Paltrow’s children have been saving their allowance — because it looks like she has her eye on some pretty pricey presents.

The 45-year-old’s lifestyle website, Goop, has unveiled it’s annual Mother’s Day gift guide, and the team didn’t skimp when it came to picking out the most luxurious gifts for mom.

With the most extravagant option being a $13,000 vintage Hermès Courchevel Kelly bag, it’s no surprise that the detailed list features 93 items that cost more than $40,000 if you were to buy them all.

Like most Mother’s Day guides, this one features plenty of jewelry, but these aren’t just any baubles.

A pink sapphire open heart necklace from Gwyneth’s pal Jennifer Meyer costs a whopping $3,110, while small Cartier Tank watch is just as expensive at $3,250.

A cheekier — albeit still expensive option — is Kim Dunham’s 14-karat gold zodiac sign rings, which retail for $2,900 each.

Even the loungewear is enough to break the bank on the lavish list, which features a 100 per cent silk robe by Olivia von Halle for $2,845.

And while the matching silk eye mask is far more affordable at $105, it certainly isn’t cheap.

However, it’s probably safe to say most kids aren’t looking to help their moms ‘set the mood’ when they are choosing their gifts.

A less expensive option that is still pretty to look at is Glacce’s clear quartz water bottle, which will infuse you mom’s water with positive energy for $80.

Keeping with Goop tradition, there are exorbitantly expensive items listed alongside some surprisingly affordable options.

True Brands’ Presley Kettle is only $48, while Medina Mercantile’s basket weave backpack with leather straps sells for $80.

The list also features a selection of books, glassware, teas that won’t break the bank.

And if you can only afford the $18 egg cup by Anne Black, you shouldn’t worry. Moms know that it is always the thought that counts.
