Gwyneth Paltrow shares a glimpse of her skincare regime after ‘slathering’ her face in a Goop scrub

Gwyneth Paltrow has given fans a glimpse of her skincare regime as she indulged in a microdermabrasion scrub on Thursday.

The actress, 49, shared the secret to her ageless complexion during a Q and A with her followers as she applied the product from her own Goop range while relaxing in the bath. 

During the interaction with her followers, Gwyneth explained she would also choose a bath over a quick shower, and will massage in her chosen products to truly pamper her skin.

After a fan asked Gwyneth: ‘Bath or shower?’ the star responded with a video of her routine while soaking herself in the water.

As the sped-up video showed her applying the scrub, she wrote: ‘Hi it’s me from the bath. You will find me in here every night. I dim the lights, add the @goop martini bath soak and exfoliate with GOOP microderm.

‘I slather it on and let the chemical part work, then massage it in.’

Clearly enjoying her unexpected pamper session, Gwyneth could be seen rubbing the scrub into her face while enjoying the soak in the bath.

Paltrow initially started Goop as a newsletter in 2008, and the company was officially incorporated in 2011.

The company’s name was inspired by author Peter Arnell, who reportedly told the star that all successful internet companies have double O’s in their name.

Goop has expanded through the years, creating a website and branching off into e-commerce, pop-up shops, wellness summits, a print magazine, a podcast and recently a Netflix docuseries.

The mother-of-two looked fresh-faced and had her long blonde strands pulled into a neat bun as she snapped a full-length selfie in her bathroom mirror.  

‘Sunday mood ✨ GP and a few us have a ritual every week where we use our overnight peels to deeply exfoliate and brighten our skin. The results the next morning (and all week) is glowy skin,’ the caption of the photo read.

Paltrow recently shared a similar post where she sported the same bathrobe and showed off her fresh face while promoting the brand’s exfoliating jelly.
