Hailee Steinfeld spotted enjoying a smoke as she films her latest series, Dickinson

She’s the actress and singer who began working in the industry at the age of ten. 

And Hailee Steinfeld was spotted filming her latest TV series, Dickinson, in New York on Sunday.

Playing the lead role of poet Emily Dickinson, the 21-year-old was spotted filming a scene in which her character was seen sneaking out of her elite private school to enjoy a forbidden cigarette.

Hailee sported a modest white pleated vintage frock that was complete with a corset. 

The beauty had her dark brunette locks tied loosely back off of her face with a centre path. 

She appeared to be wearing a very minimal amount of makeup for the scene.

The Pitch Perfect star dressed up as a boy and had on a velour blue button-up vest and tie underneath a grey suit jacket.

She walked along with a walking cane and a black top hat.

The outdoor scene saw Hailee’s character shoot alongside her friend Sue, played by Ella Hunt, who was also dressed as a male. Samuel Farnsworth was also spotted with the girls. 

Dickenson is an upcoming comedic web series created by Alena Smith and produced by Apple’s worldwide programming division.
