Halle Berry and beau Van Hunt head to a screening of her film Bruised in New York City

She made her directorial debut more than three decades after getting her start as an actress.

And Halle Berry took a victory lap on Friday evening when she headed to a screening of her new film Bruised at the 92nd Street Y in New York City.

The 55-year-old John Wick 3 star was spotted leaving her hotel with her boyfriend Van Hunt, 51, by her side.

Heading out: Halle Berry, 55, was spotted Friday night as she left her hotel in New York City with her beau Van Hunt on their way to a screening of her film Bruised at the 92nd Street Y

Halle glowed in the night air thanks to her lustrous velvet suit, which was decorated with golden floral designs.

She wore her blazer with matching high-waisted slacks that flared at the bottom and nearly swallowed up her footwear.

She stood tall in open-toe heels and flaunted her cleavage in her plunging black top, which had crisscrossing laces running over her cleavage.

The 5ft5in beauty wore her gorgeous caramel-colored locks with a middle part and twisting waves cascading down her shoulders.

Standing by her side was her boyfriend Van Hunt, who wore a more anonymous outfit to let his love shine on her big night.

He wore a low-key black overcoat with the hood up, along with black pants, a gray shirt and short white boots.

The singer–songwriter added some style to his look with a weathered yellow hip bag covered in dark splotches, which he had slung across his torso.

He covered his salt-and-pepper beard with a black mask as they departed their hotel and headed to the screening.

The couple were first linked in August of last year, and they’ve been nearly inseparable ever since.

Halle admitted in the latest issue of Women’s Health that she wished the two would have met long before they finally did.

‘I wish I had met him sooner so I could have loved him longer,’ she said, adding, ‘I feel happy in my life romantically, as a mother, as an artist.’

She has two children: her daughter Nahla, 13, whom she shares with ex Gabriel Aubrey, and her son Maceo, eight, whom she had with her ex-husband Olivier Martinez.

Halle followed up a screening of Bruised with a question-and-answer session with the audience.

She stars as a down-on-her-luck MMA fighter who accepts an unsanctioned bout with a top fighter while also dealing with the return of her six-year-old son, whom she gave up for adoption when he was still a baby.

The Oscar winner admitted earlier this week on Jimmy Kimmel Live that she had to wait to sign on to direct and star in the film until Blake Lively had turned down the project.

It proved to be a perfect fit for her, as she had been a boxing and fighting fan even before learning of the project.

‘That’s why when I got this script I was like this came from heaven,’ she explained. ‘I’ve loved boxing since I was a kid. [Thomas] Hearns and [Muhammad] Ali, [Marvin] Hagler and [Sugar Ray] Leonard were my heroes as a little girl, so this was tailor made for me in so many ways.’
