And now Hamish Blake and Andy Lee have weighed in on Ubergate, mocking Karl and Peter Stefanovic’s ‘b**chy’ phone call about their Channel Nine colleagues.
In a video shared to Instagram on Tuesday, Hamish berates Andy for speaking to his brother Cameron on speakerphone in a taxi, before joking he had recorded the call.

Hamish then interrogates his radio partner in a follow-up video, asking him: ‘We are in the back of a cab Andy. Who were you on the phone to?
‘My brother Cameron,’ Andy said. Hamish then replied: ‘Speakerphone?’
‘Yeah,’ Andy answered.
Gotcha moment: Smiling gleefully at the camera, Hamish revealed in mock glee: ‘I’ve recorded everything!’

On Monday, New Idea published details of a 45-minute ‘b**chy’ phone call Peter Stefanovic made to his brother Karl in the back of an Uber.
Although widely reported to have been recorded, the driver has adamantly denied he taped the conversation without Peter’s knowledge.

During the long-winded conversation Karl complained about Today colleagues Georgie for not having enough opinions and Richard for not sharing his showbusiness contacts.
Peter also took aim at colleagues – including longtime Nine News journalist Mark Burrows, who Peter claimed ‘looks down on him’.
The younger Stefanovic brother also said he ‘hated his job so much that he often takes it out on wife Sylvia’.
