Comedian Hamish Blake shares two children with author wife Zoë Foster Blake.
And on Thursday, the proud father, 36, shared a heart-warming message to his son Sonny for his fourth birthday.
Hamish captioned a holiday snap of the pair: ‘Happy 4th birthday to my best mate, my favourite guy in the world, the guy who makes me rethink the world and roar with laughter everyday, my Sonny boy.’

Hamish began by rattling off his comedic accomplishments and past roles, before adding: ‘Of all the things I’ve got to be though, nothing comes close to getting to be a Dad. And this guy got me into it.’
‘I owe him a debt I can probably never explain to him, but will attempt to partially repay via making an elaborate cake,’ the proud father said of his eldest.
Hamish insisted he was ‘very lucky’ to be a father, having also welcomed a baby girl with his wife last year.
The former Hamish And Andy radio host not only showed his love in the lengthy post, but also arranged an elaborate surprise for the four-year-old on his special day.
Taking to Instagram Stories, a video captured the moment Hamish introduced his son to Batman.

Hamish appeared to arrange a Batman impersonator to come by their home and meet little Sonny after opening a Batman toy.
Sonny kept his composure while meeting his superhero idol and adorably accepted a gift from the surprise guest: ‘Thanks for my Batbelt.’
Hamish and wife Zoë will celebrate their daughter Rudy’s first birthday in July.

Since becoming a parent, Hamish has develop a greater sense of appreciation for his own parents Kerry and Noel.
‘You suddenly realise that most of your parents’ life was not [spent doing] what they wanted to be doing,’ telling TV Week.
‘It dawns on you that they would have loved to be doing other stuff, but they didn’t because they had kids,’ he added.
